Assistant Coordinator Central Louisville Coalition Project

Family & Children's Place, a Louisville based company is looking to hire a part-time (25 hours/week) Assistant Coordinator for the Central Louisville Coalition project. This position will work with the program coordinator to support the activities and events of this vital partnership. This human services position earns competitive pay of $17.00 and a sign-on bonus of $300. We also offer a 403(b) plan, paid time off (PTO), including vacation time, paid sick time, up to 5 paid holidays. The assistant coordinator spends half time in the office and half in the CLC community or in the schools. Flexible schedule may require some evenings and possible weekends, at times. As the assistant to the CLC project coordinator, you play a key role in participating in Coalition member recruitment and retention and in working to develop community change initiatives. You will manage administrative tasks, including reports, data collection and expenditures. You will have the opportunity to assist in leading youth groups in their focus on substance abuse prevention.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred but experience in structured programming with children and families is even more important
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources is preferred
  • Preferred prior experience with drug/alcohol prevention programs and basic knowledge of substance use disorders
  • Ability to pass a background check as well as a child abuse and neglect check upon hire
  • Willingness to take a drug test, and TB screening
  • Current Covid-19 vaccination
