The HANDS program has an opening for a supervisor to coordinate the daily activities of the HANDS program services for assigned team. Position requires an understanding of the issues of poverty, child abuse and neglect and the risk factors that produce such. Experience in home visitation with a strong background in primary prevention services to the zero to five year age population is strongly preferred. Also preferred experience in providing services for culturally diverse families. 

Job Skills/Requirements

Scope is inclusive of program planning, service delivery, day-to-day coordination of activities, staff training, on-going supervision, and monitoring and evaluation of projects. May also be responsible for providing direct services for a small family caseload. Will be responsible for providing direct services for families, at least until a full team of family service workers can be assigned.  This position utilizes trauma-informed evidence based practices and policies in its service delivery. 

 Requirements (Any of the below)

  Bachelor's degree in social work with LSW license

  Master's degree in social work with CSW or LCSW license

  Registered Nurse

Note: Currently supervisors are working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home each week.  More days in office may be required during onboarding.  Once normal routines resume, work will be done in the office 5 days/week though due to the nature of the program, hours are flexible and can be adjusted to meet the needs of your team and clients.
